My Story
I am curiously and sincerely interested in myself, others, and the world around me.

I am curiously and sincerely interested in myself, others, and the world around me. In my roles as a man, father, manager, colleague, IT professional, mentor, and coach—but most importantly, as a human being.
I love deep human connections. I value authenticity and honesty, both toward myself and others.
Finding clear ways for myself and those around me to express ourselves brings me a deep sense of satisfaction.
My greatest joy comes from guiding people who know they want a change—whether that’s a shift in their inner attitudes and principles, where I’m available as a coach, or a change in communication and taking ownership within a team, where I can help as a career mentor or a mentor for managers.
I have a deep understanding of managerial work, the IT world, and corporate processes. I enjoy finding the contexts within them that help establish clear and fair rules of the game.
Professional Life
I am a long-time manager with extensive experience in the IT sector, delivering software products and leading teams. My career includes significant roles at companies like NESS, Ataccama, and uLékaře.cz, where I focused on project management and agile transformation.
Currently, I guide people as a coach and mentor while simultaneously leading a team and project at Siemens Healthineers.

Personal Life
Today, I feel like my “true” personal life only really began after the passing of my father, around my 40th year.
Up until then, I lived a wonderful period with my former wife. We built a beautiful life and a family home together.
I raised two children, a son and a daughter, spent time hiking in the high mountains, and traveled with my family. I ran a marathon and climbed the Matterhorn. I managed a team of 42 people in an international company. I had mastered the life of a “successful person.”
But one day, I was sitting on our terrace and an inner voice said to me: I have everything; I’ve achieved enough. What now? Just enjoy this until the end of my life?
Over the next year and a half, a growing inner unrest began to take hold of me.
I didn’t know what was missing, but I knew something wasn’t right.
Eventually, I allowed myself to go on a guided pilgrimage to the Sahara.
That marked the beginning of my journey to find the “living” part of myself—a search that continues to this day.
During this period, I’ve experienced many things. There are things I am proud of, and others I’d rather not tell anyone.
I went through a divorce and a property settlement. I moved from the Czech Republic to Slovakia. I changed jobs, learned much, accepted much, and let go of much. I have since remarried, and my wife and I are expecting a daughter together.
I have been supported by many teachers, their workshops, and various self-development and therapeutic programs.
The most important ones, starting from the most recent:
A 1.5-year coaching certification at Business Coaching College, led by Zuzana Karpinská and Denisa Kmecová, finished by ICF ACC certification.
5 years of ongoing training (ranging from monthly sessions to daily practice) with Elias Bohunický. This training covered: process-oriented psychology, craniosacral therapy, systemic constellations, working with shame, circle facilitation, men’s circles, and martial arts.
5 years as a participant and co-organizer of a standing men’s circle in the Czech Republic.
2 years of managerial mentoring from Martin Novotný.
A 1-year intensive management course led by Ján Hausmann. This covered the theory and practice of: management, communication, delegating work, feedback, teamwork, group dynamics, conflict resolution, situational leadership, team roles, and crisis management.
For six years, I attended annual one-week camps with my children. These included elements of men’s circles, group sharing, and developmental body games inspired by how indigenous cultures raise their children:
- Taťkárium – founded and led by Zdeněk Weber.
- Otcovia deťom / Otcové dětem – founded and led by a group of three men: Jozef Mihališin, Vladimír Tĺčik, and Peter Hadač.
2 years in a development program for business owners, managers, and leaders called Spirála Leadershipu (The Leadership Spiral), founded and led by Martin Černohorský.
Completed a 14-day pilgrimage in the Sahara, a concept brought from Germany by Tereza Černohorská.
